Hi everyone, I really need some advice with how you guys structured your writing pieces. I go to two tutors and for persuasive this is what they say:
Tutor 1 (All subjects SEHS tutor):
Para. 1: Introduction (Signpost 2 arguments) (3 sentences)
Para. 2: Body Paragraph 1 (5-6 sentences)
Para. 3: Body Paragraph 2 (5-6 sentences)
Para. 4: Rebuttal (3 sentences)
Para. 5: Conclusion (1 sentence)
Tutor 2 (English Specialised):
Para. 1: Introduction (Signpost 3 three arguments)
Para. 2: Body Paragraph 1
Para. 3: Body Paragraph 2
Para. 4: Rebuttal (1st sentence), Body Paragraph 3
Para. 5: Conclusion (3 sentences)
So when comparing these I feel like it is a bit unrealistic to write 3 body paragraphs, but according to them a lot of students sitting the exam are able to. I also find the structure, transition words length of paragraphs, etc. easier and more comfortable to write against. I am happy two change and write according to the second tutor. I just want to ask what you guys did and can you please tell how many sentences each paragraph should be. Also how did you plan?
