JMSS 2026 entry.

Hi can someone please tell me Since the JMSS test is around the corner I was wondering what are the things we are allowed to bring. Like last year for the SEHS exam we had to bring all our stuff in a clear ziplock bag so I was wondering if there is anything like this pls let me know

lowk i too have been trying to focus bc i know im not too strong in any of these, however i just end up doomscrolling or playing video games (i didnt have to find a new obsession 3 weeks before the exam bro) but sometimes theres this spark in me that wants to study for like 15 minutes lol

whenever i do, i usually search up science news or ask chatgpt "top science news of 2025/2024" and i write down the info, before trying to form the topics into possible SIC prompts (i figured since last years was on the tornadoes and that was a uprising topic in 2024) but its nice to be on top of the news once in a while lol

problem is even if i get an interview i dont even have any hobby or extracurricular science based </3

i did the bsc in year 8 but i never got an participation award but i did get credit in the amc (i wasnt feeling it that day lol) but nothing science related whihc sucks.. i dont have any hobbies either which would be nice if half the science hobbies i knew were just coding UGH I CANT CODE

Nyxx im trying out this year, but ive heard from current jmss students that they get told how many sit the exam and its definitely not 5000 (plus personally i wouldnt 100% trust wikipedia but thats ur choice)

its 5000 for SEHS. 1000 - 2000 for JMSS. Wikipedia is lying

Does anyone know the essay writing section for JMSS how much it is marked out of 10 or 20?

acedemic_achiver there isnt an actual grading system, really just try write a good piece that answers their questions
