alex! Hey, I did the test last year and got 4 SUPS (sold in science com 💀) and am currently attending JMSS. Tbh the test is a lot easier than most think, I went to James Ann for a year, which was money wasted because the questions all required nothing other than common sense. Im pretty sure the maths test had y9 curriculum topics so the questions themselves are easy. The only thing that could have costed some people was the time, and simple mistakes. So focus on being efficient and accurate rather than knowing content. The science tests are of similar difficulty to the ICAS Science Papers. They give you info, you apply them to a question. YOU DO NOT NEED TO GRIND SCIENCE TEXTBOOKS, especially beyond year 9. The only things that should be studied as prior knowledge are Year 9 curriculum topics, science issues (and their respective solution/s) and how to take an exam properly (dont be me and do an essay while regretting not going to the bathroom). The essays are probably the most difficult because though they give you info, you do need to know a bit before hand to actually understand the data and resources they provide (not too much, but just enough to actually understand the issue). For me, i wrote about hurricanes for science com, and for the report writing it was the speed of growth of seedlings under varied conditions (sunlight, water etc).
