This essay compares and contrasts Rosalie Gascoigne's holistic abstraction, "Monaro" with Australian Impressionist, Arthur Streeton's oil painting, "Fire's On" under the Formal and Cultural frameworks. It isn't exactly finished, but note my use of footnotes in accordance with Criterion 5, "Clear reference to a range of resources".
