KingYen chxin Ohhh. Sorry for not getting the joke. However, I do appreciate the good luck, I will need it
chxin its only me an @The_Cricket_Nerd , even tho he tried for 3 years, i tried for 1 yr with pure determination and motivation, i litreally studied at camp 😥
mhsbandar chxin P-9 schools (like mine) take 10% of the cohort while other schools (7-12, P-12, 7-8, etc) only take 4%. its a stupid rule but what can you do
KingYen mhsbandar Used to be 5% until some schools got mad that SEHS were taking all their smart students away
mhsbandar KingYen I mean for most schools that wouldn't make a huge difference. the same can't be said for the big 3 however...
KingYen mhsbandar OFCCCCCCC THE BIG 3. I'm sure there are many more schools that deserve a place in this
JMSS_hopefully KingYen bro mine especially like alkira's masterclass has so many smart people that get taken away and the person who runs the masterclass gets really annoyed although he never shows it but he always tries telling us about how alkira still a good school or some bs and that nossal isnt that different
KingYen JMSS_hopefully GET OU-. I heard the teachers in Wellington Secondary did the same thing with their high achievers' program. But honestly, I feel bad for the teacher. He's just trying to get the ratings of Alkira Higher
DISCRETION LAST HOPE i just created this account as I am in serious need of advice rn. I recently tried out for nossal but failed. This wasnt expected as I outperformed basically everyone ik in mocks but mustve sold or got unlucky on the test. My only direction is jmss now but im acc clueless on what to do. Im really bad at science and don't remember any general knowledge or notes from school except for basic cycles. Im not familiar with the style of the tests or how to actually study for the test. Could people share their advice on how to just begin cause I can just improve myself if I js know what to study.
KingYen DISCRETION LAST HOPE Hi There! Check the JMSS forums! They might be able to help. I think you should look at the entirety of the Year 9 Science textbook and MAYBE a bit of Year 10 as well to get started. Also, you said you were not that good at science. You can always improve! Just note that the community here is ready to support you! Welcome to Atar Forums and Gl on your journey!
