Honestly no need to rush into Methods too early! Year 9 is a great time to build solid foundations. Just focus on getting comfortable with algebra, linear equations, quadratics, and some basic functions from your current textbook. Doing extra practice from online resources or Khan Academy can help. If you’re keen, casually skimming the Year 10 or Methods textbooks could be useful, but really there’s plenty of time ahead. Just keep maths enjoyable, and you’ll naturally be prepared when it’s time for Methods!
