I failed both Term 1 and Term 2 in Year 10 Methods, and it’s been really hard trying to catch up. I’ve been putting in effort and practicing, but I still don’t fully understand some topics and feel stuck. I’m feeling stressed and worried about whether I can pass. If anyone has advice, study tips, or can explain things in an easy way, I would really appreciate the help. Thanks so much!

d124 Hi there! I would recommend seeking additional help from teachers and maybe a tutor if you need. In terms of what you can do, look over questions you got wrong or content you don't understand and write notes about how you got the question wrong and what you can do to get it right or simply doing practise questions. How long do you study for? That could be another reason. But it's not about counting the minutes, it about making the minutes count! I also want to stress how important it is to take care of your mental health. Stress and worrying is never a good thing. Try taking a walk or getting a breath of fresh air! Make sure to take breaks during your study sessions! (For example, 1 break every 1 hour). If the subject is getting too much and you don't think you can get a good score, then drop it.
