yolo Hi There! Dyk if there's a list where it shows a school and the limit that John Monash is allowed to intake? I'm trying to do some research (For personal interest) to see how different each school's intake which will allow me to help students who are trying out for john monash in the future!

yolo yea im js curious what ur results were (and how they compared to how u think u did) and what extracurriculars did u put and were they like rly high level awards and stuff

yolo is the 3% rule strict what if say a cohort is extremely smart and does extremely well on the interview can they both get in even if the 3% rule doesnt allow it, and they are a girl and a boy so they match the 50:50 gender ratio

yolo hey how did your results look like did they like send a bar and showed u where your results lied on that bar like avg. or sups or did they just tell u that out of 50 question u got this?

KingYen so its 200 per year, they try to keep it a 50:50 girl: boy so about 100 girls and 100 boys. Only 3% of each cohort can pass the interview but there is no limit on the test.

KingYen it's usually just from 3% of how much your cohort is, so the bigger the school cohort, the more people from your school can be accepted

Sleepy i ended up getting 2 sups 2 aa and 1 ha, i thought i did super bad since I didn't finish a lot of my tests in the time, and mucked it up in general, but dont worry too much since you have to remember that theres lots of people that your being ranked agaisnt, so your scores are probably higher then u think.
also my extracurriculars weren't super crazy, just normal sport involvement, past music, academic awards and school teams

alex! i dont think its superr strict, like they can make exceptions sometimes, but is also unlikely that more than 3% pass the interview and get accepted into the skl

dont worry everyon all the people that passed the test said it is easy. U only need like 2 sups and nothing below avr. Some ppl from my skl in intermediate math passed the test
