If you want any tips...
You should probably get more sleep if you keep taking naps throughout the day. If you are getting at least 7 hours of sleep, then you should make a rule to not study on your bed. I find I am most focused sitting at a desk or table.
DEXZIDERRIYUM Tell me why im making an AO3 account instead of working.
A quick tip for procrastination, not sure if this will work for you but you can try, if you ever find yourself procrastinating - like posting on your discussion or making an AO3 account - then just cross it off and get up before your brain even has time to protest and go for a quick 1 - 2 min walk/break and breathe, listen to your fav song. Then come back and re-start your study.
DEXZIDERRIYUM Anyways, I'm avoiding caffeine for the rest of today and probably tomorrow. I'm already twitchy, I'm gonna study for my next two exams, I just took a nap for an hour and a half TOPS but it's already dark outside. Welcome to the mid exam nap black hole
Again what I said about the sleep thing, you shouldn't need to nap throughout the day. Might also help you to stop drinking all that caffeine.
Studying might be easier if you switched up your mindset a little. Instead of staying up late, talking about 'grinding', having the mentality of 'I'm going to fail', try going to bed earlier and waking up earlier. I know it's not that simple, but TRUST ME on this one, you feel so pumped when you wake up early, get going and bang through a bunch of study when you're only usually just waking up. Another piece of advice: stop saying that you have to grind through the work and you have to 'lock in and grind'. You even make me not want to do work. Half of school is in your mind. Tell yourself, 'I can do this, I've done it before' 'This will only take a few minutes' 'I know this, I'm going to smash the exam.' I've been surprised by how much you can do when you have the determination and mentality to succeed.
DEXZIDERRIYUM I'm in class rn and I'm so hungry it's not even real, also does anyone have experience in basic app development classes in year 10? I would appreciate tips for the exam, The concept is ridiculously hard to grasp
- If you're struggling to grasp the concept, the best person to ask is your teacher. If not, AI is often very helpful for explaining concepts.
- You seem to be struggling with the workload and content, so how about you actually pay attention in class? That might help.
DEXZIDERRIYUM I recently did a math an chemistry test and needless to say, I currently want to throw myself off of a balcony, the math test was horrid, I studied so hard but i did the test at a later date, so there was no timer infront of me so I couldnt divide my time, I knew how to answer the questions, I KNEW the questions but I ran out of time and left half the test untouched.
If that ever happens again - just ask for a clock, the school should have had one there anyway. Could you not ask the supervisor how much time you have left?
DEXZIDERRIYUM things are getting better 🙂
I'm starting to study more often, I've recently completed an english exam and I think I did really well, I have a science EPI going on and a religion assignment which i don't get because it's exam season but it is what it is I guess
I'm going to grind more for math and science, I'm understanding a lot more app development and javascript code!!! I still have a lot to go over but it's getting better, I still need to study for geography since i dislike the subject but it should be easy enough if I just memorize
Wish me luck! 11 days till the exams hit
This is a better attitude to have. Good luck for this year!
