I thought that the scholarship tests for Scotch for year 9 entry had already passed, but they will actually be held in October!

I don't think that I have a chance at year 9 entry at this point in time, but I will still try out.

Also, they do ask for your school reports for any scholarship, along with your NAPLAN results, as stated on the website: https://www.scotch.vic.edu.au/admissions/scholarships/ (under "How to Apply")

Thank you for your email and interest in a Scotch College Scholarship.

Scholarships are available for entry for the Year 10 class in 2027.

Scholarship categories include Academic Excellence, General Excellence (Visual Arts, Performing Arts/Music and Drama, Sport, Leadership and Community Service), Boarding and Means-Tested.

The examination for these Scholarships will be held at Scotch in late October 2025.

More information about this Scholarship examination will be available from mid-August 2025 on the School’s website.

My NAPLAN scores are really good (all highest triangle and the very top of the highest triangle on 3 out of 5 of them) and my grades are really good across all core subjects (all As) and 3 Bs between P.E, Drama and Wood Technologies, so I think that I have a good chance if I do well on the test

my ecs suck though, but I don't think that I'm required to provide them for the academic scholarship
