Yo! I'm jelly
I'm in year 8 and I currently attend a very, very mediocre public school 🥲 Some students and the education aren't great, but a lot of the teachers are really nice!

I'm looking to apply to JMSS next year, and a journal would be a good way to keep track of my studies, and also so I don't procrastinate studying/doing assignments. (btw if you guys have tips for JMSS enrolment, please do share 🙏)

Anyway... I'll be yapping school updates (hopefully regularly)! Hope to see you guys tag along !!!٩(•̤̀ᵕ•̤́๑)

Ooooh, welcome to the VCE journey, it's never too early to look to the future!
It's a good thing that your teachers are nice though. If you respect them, they'll respect you, and end up teaching some cool life lessons along the way.
Keeping a journal is a good idea to get your ideas written down. You can reflect on them at any time. Do you have any ambitions? A dream career? Ideas for what subjects you want to undertake in Year 11 and 12?
Plenty of time to consider it all though, don't worry!

FinFin-3rdYearUni Ah, I'm not so sure about what I wanna do yet, but I'm like very, very locked in my study grind for JMSS!
As for my dream career, I'm not fixed on anything yet, but I have always dreamt of doing something in the science field. Unfortunately, my school doesn't offer many science classes. We only get two science lessons a week 🥲 ... anyway, that's why I want to leave my current school ASAP lol.

Mini Update: 23/8/25

Literally have a truckload of assignments/work to do right now lol.
One of them is my slam poetry "speech" for the 'OutLoud Slam!' Competition on September 1st. Hope to see any of you if you're watching/performing!

Sorry for the inactivity, it's been so busy!

The slam poetry competition was so fun! Everyone who attended was so welcoming, and it was nice to deliver and see everyone's poems. Other than that, it's been so busy with school. Especially with debating, as we're currently competing in the finals rn.
