Ok hello everyone, it has been a week since I've started school and I've already gone around the roller-coaster a few times lol.
So, it might seem abrupt but after struggling through the lit holiday homework and dreading all my periods, and also disliking my teacher, I decided to drop it to general english. I was already spending 1.5 hours each night trying to simply work on what we did in class, but somehow it just wasn't clicking. So I know general english scales down but I think I need some breathing space in vce, and I still believe I can get a good general eng study score. I'm not too bad at english and am hoping the bellcurve works in my favour, because of all the other random kids that do general eng.
I also have gotten a french tutor for once a week, that way I can practice my speaking and listening, and also go over all that pesky grammar. I have been feeling surprisingly good about french, despite my wariness, and the tutor is helping me with this too.
Finally I have got a maths tutor too, for mostly spesh but also methods if needed, and he is already so great.
So after only a week some things in my schedule have changed, but I think they were all necessary adjustments to make my vce life a bit easier. I truly believe that your gut knows more than your mind, and all these little tweaks felt right.
I will talk to you guys soon, thanks for all the tips!
