JMSS Yr 10 entry 2027

Hi, my name is Michelle, and I am a yr8 student trying out for JMSS next year. I have gone to JAC tutoring, but I doubt their accuracy, as according to the official website, they are looking for unique thinkers, and I am given a script for every type of question, which seems backwards, also, apparently the written tests are more like ICAS tests, so, if you have any info, or gone through the process yourself, i would really like to know.

Async_01 At the moment, what are your current strengths for the JMSS exam. Is your best topic mathematics, science or numerical reasoning? Try to expand your knowledge for mathematics, from an ATAR Notes post by
Nuclei said 'As for the mathematics and numerical reasoning, I'd recommend Henderson exams.' For science reasoning, make sure to know the structure of a science report well.

Here is a good drive link for practice tests, I'm not sure if it will help as I am not sitting the JMSS exam, however I think it will boost your knowledge!

Async_01 Hey Michelle, my name is Mikayla~ From my experience I would really recommend Aimer education, the tests are soooo accurate, like practically 1:1 and the staff are really helpful and nice!! I got 4 superiors this year because of them 😮 The tutors are also ex JMSS alumni with all of them getting 99+ ATARS and 5 sups on the jmss entrance exams themselves so they know what they're doing when they teach

It sounds like I'm glazing them but im not trust lmaoo

They also give really really helpful feedback which is good on writings especially which helped me a lot since I started with really bad writing 😃
