hello! this is my first ever post in ATAR Notes, but i've been lurking here since 2024 SEHS, and this community is honestly so amazing and supportive. and i guess marking my journey for the (almost) start of a new year is sorta nice. anyways enough with the blabbering, my names vivi and welcome to the journal of the most academically stricken student ever lived.
somethings about me
so, first of all, my names vivi and i'm reaching the end of year 9. i'm really into english and humanities, even if the teachers yap for a billion years. I really love reading, writing, listening to indie and kpop, walking, journalling, food, my fam, cats, anime and k-dramas, photography, and shopping. Like any other student, though, I have came through my own struggles with studying, such as burning out and a slowly deteriorating mental health (😃), but i want to document these challenges as a way to let myself grow and connect with others who go through the same.
i hope whoever finds this journal feels happy and feel connected with my journey in any way possible, bc in the end of the day, we're all in this together (starts playing High School Musical).
anyways lets start !!
entry 1: exam season = absolute hell
exams are around the corner, and this means that teachers have been swarming us with homework in the name of getting us ready for senior school (more like getting us ready for doom but thats on the education system), and lifes been filled with loads of work. ive been assigned atleats 4 assignments in the past two days and after 2 miserable days, finally finished all of them (with the usual procrastination and doom scrolling, yk). and is now writing this entry. although im freaked out for finals, im really excited for year 10 !! the subjects im taking for next yr are:
- eng lang
- math methods
- philosophy
- media advertising
- chem
- bus - man
- specialist maths
but yeah thats all. schools been tough, social life has been a dwindling mess, but besides that lifes good. lmaooo thanks for taking ur time for ready this really long piece of blabber.
