Hey! I actually did Global Studies at La Trobe and really enjoyed the hands-on approach and the international opportunities they offer. If you're worried about the theory side of things, I found that using resources like Khan Academy https://khan-academy.pissedconsumer.com/review.html was a massive help for getting my head around some of the political science and economics concepts in a more visual way. It's not a replacement for your course content, but it definitely gave me a bit more confidence during my first year! Good luck with your decision, both unis have their strengths!
