matcha_miyu i did both acer (yr 9) and edutest (yr 10). From what I remember, reading comp was similar both years. The questions are sort of NAPLAN-ish? like for questions there were usually 2 answers that both seem right. My advice is to go with your instinct and choose the one you first think is more correct instead of overthinking it. For verbal reasoning, there was a lot of vocabulary so def revise ur vocab. There were also riddles (or reasoning questions), there isn’t really a strategy for those as they’re vastly different, just make sure ur not spending too long on one question, if u are, just guess the best-sounding answer. The time limit is honestly the biggest concern and not the difficulty of the questions. I don’t really recommend practise papers for these two tests as I found the questions completely different from the real tests
rlly random and not rlly related but in the yr 9 year reading comp, there was question that was just a picture of a cartoon dog with a caption underneath and you were supposed to choose what that picture was implying or something- It was really funny, I can’t distinctly remember any questions other than that one lol
edit: think i mixed up acer and edutest
edit 2: I am so, so confused
