Is there anyone who can help me get into JMSS this year? I am looking for any tips/tricks, study materials, and anyone who can explain different topics to me.

if u want a good tutor either go for aimer or jayce, DEF NOT JAC.
use bigbrain to help ig
dont do stuff that dont help (netflix (ok punch me im such a hypocrite), yt shorts), watch informative youtubers

lowk my fav channel that I watched was kurgesatz but honestly if ur interested in a topic search it and see what comes up
don’t limit urself to vids there are heaps of science magazines, websites etc. I had a subscription to this one called oyla and it was pretty good
if u look at abc iview they also hv some sciency shows if that’s ur thing
(Also u can watch normal shows and movies etc js incorporate some more sciency things into what u watch)

Little_Beta Organic chem tutor, NileRed (for fun in free time) because nile red does rlly cool chemical processes/experiments which is just interesting and for learning material organic chem tutor is rlly good.

Little_Beta nahh no yr 10 stuff needed. For maths if ur alr confident in yr 9 concepts yr 10 wont hurt but basically hv a good overall knowledge of yr 9 maths and practice time management cuz the questions wont be ridiculously hard but u might muck up because of time (also idk if surds is in yr 9 textbook but like learn those asw). For science u def don’t need yr 10 stuff - u also dont need a ridiculously deep understanding of each topic - js know yr seven and eight rly well obviously and then know the major bits of all year nine content. Also practice applying and interpreting info and data

Does anyone have any tips for Science Reasoning? I read that u don't need much prior knowledge, you need to be able to interpret more.

Little_Beta both im pretty sure. but also make sure u have bg knowledge of overall concepts as they can help u to interpret more in depth and faster bc sometimes the Qs build on prior knowledge. in general, just make sure u learn from mistakes from the practice Qs and fill the gaps in ur science knowledge or anything ur not sure abt etc. hope this helps
