8 (short term memory also known as working memory is the second store in the Atkinson-shiffer (or something like that) model, I believe with a capacity of SEVEN +/-2 that holds information for roughly thirty seconds (I think) unless purposefully retained through attention, such as through repetition (the seven was aggressively capitalised because I lost marks on my sac for saying 5 lol))
