96 YR10SEHSASPIRANT basically yeah, due to socio-economic stuff etc. plus you can file special considerations for ur atar to get into uni.

i_need_mental_asylum all im going to say is try your best. coming into this year, i knew the pressure to do well will be there, but don't let that pressure get to you because at the end of the day, there will be many pathways to do what you want to do.

98 YR10SEHSASPIRANT as someone from a 'worse school' we do get some benefits in the SEAS application which some university's can use to adjust the ATAR but it's also important to note that ranking 1st in a bad cohort doesn't mean you're going to get some amazing study score either.
Going to a good school is overall more beneficial as there's mor opportunity to learn from/with your peers plus the bigger schools tend to get more resources/more teaching staff/more support in general. A bigger school can afford to help student's do well, wheras a smaller school like men honestly just wants people to pass, like yes teachers want us to do well but most our emphasis is on getting through it. Sorry for the long paragraph lol
