2022 English Language Exam Discussion

Hey guys,
This is just a space for all the englang kids to talk about the exam!
How are we feeling for/how was it?
I’m currently pretty chill about it hoping for a social attitudes topic, a written Section B text and spoken Section A text.
Regardless, it’s almost over 😃

Alright so that was pretty much accurate predictions except for the essay topic. I felt like compared to last years exam VCAA was really nice texts. It went by so quickly and it didn’t even feel like an exam to be honest.

Yeah I did not like the essay questions too much. I preferred previous VCAA ones.
Which one did ya write on?

yeah idk how to feel about it, it was quite unexpected on the part of the essays but also the SAQs I found a bit wierd... but overall i think i performed pretty good

I did Q7 which was about other cultures influencing our language. I was gonna do the Linguist repetoires makes us exploit overt/covert norms but abandoned it cuz I had no examples for it. Q8 was far too broad. AC was decent tho. What are you guys aiming for?
