  • QCE Methods External exam - Yay or Nay?

Howdy!

So, I feel like we need a methods discussion...because what the heckorooni was that tech active exam? Most people in my grade found it incredibly difficult and it was so much harder than the 2021 and 2020 papers. It was nothing like what the students or teachers expected, but luckily, scaling is a thing so fingers crossed.

How did you go? Was there a particular topic you got stuck on? Which one did you find harder, tech active or tech free?

P.S. We're not allowed by QCAA to talk about the actual exam questions specifically, and just remember "What's done is done," - Lady Macbeth. We can't change the past but we can affect the future, so good luck to all with future exams!!

jinx_58 We're not allowed by QCAA about the actual exam questions specifically

Lmao what kind of rule is that? Ngl vcaa down here is weird, but since you've finished the exam. There shouldn't be a reason why you can't talk about it. Does qcaa have a reason behind it?

Because a buncha students have alternate timetables, where they may complete the exam at a later date. Yeah. the exam is gunna be different but QCAA doesn't wanna risk anything lol. Also, our exams get marked to 0 if they find out we talked the questions online. That's what the head of careers/QCAA link at my school said.

vcaa manages to make everyone take the same exam on the same day. it seems like a huge logistical nightmare but its either u take the exam or dont. im surprised qcaa doesn't make everyone take the same thing at the same time. the organisation must be chaos.

        whens ur next exam?

Damnnnn hats off the VCAA man, that's pretty awesome but damn that's hectic too.
My next one is Wednesday, and its Ancient history, how about you?
