2021
Methods - 24 (😊)

2022
English - 39
Chemistry - 45
Health - 46
Further Maths - 48
Biology - 41

I wanted a 98 but it's looking very doubtful, I'll settle for anything though.

Here’s my predictions 🙂

English: 37-38 (thought I did really good, finished everything but conclusion of section b however I’m hoping my ranking and cohort pulls me through since we’re strong)

Health and Human: 48-50 (was very happy overall except for the last 10 marker, it was easy yet not time to finish so that got me deflated, however as rank 1 and finishing all the rest I’m confident I did well overall or else I’ll bawl lmao)

Further: 40-42 (such a competitive subject no joke, section A let me down with max 5 marks lost however section b should pull through with 1 mark lost hopefully :/ )

Methods: 34-36 (honestly enjoyed the exam but cbf studying until the last night but was still confident coming out of it)

Chemistry: 37-39 (my goodness I actually loved this exam despite hating the subject)

Biology: 35 (2021, didn’t do the best I’d hoped partly because of my poor studying habits)

Overall predicted is 95+ which would be amazing but to stay realistic I’m staying in the 94+ zone.

Revan Hey after reading the ss prediction forums it seems you're pretty good at doing ss predictions. Pls tell me your secret 😮, like how were you able to predict your cracked study scores for meth, spec and chem?

Thanks! 😄

I've done quite a few exams actually and most of them went into chem and spec. I know roughly how I went on the exam and I have also read previous students' exam scores and complementing study scores. To predict study scores, you should be familiar with past students results, grade distributions and be able to judge the difficulty of exams (this comes from doing past vcaa papers). I feel as though the methods, spec and chem exams were easier this year than last year so i'm very curious to know what ss's I received. It's only a matter of 6 days...

Revan Oh sheesh it seems you sure put a lot of work into this. Did you look at the suggested solutions to get an idea of how you went on the exams? or just like the vibe coming out of it?

        qscgyjmlp
I tried my best to not look at any solutions and I have succeeded so far. I didn't want to be disappointed knowing that I lost marks but coming out of the exams I knew how I went. I was very happy with Exam 2 for both maths but heavily disappointed with Exam 1 for Spec and English and Chem were a little disappointing but not too bad. I guess during the year I was so bored that I spent so many hours mindlessly reading past forums but I assume many others do at some point.

okay so here are my actual vs (predicted) scores:
        english - 49 (42)
        bio - 45 (39)
        chem - 40 (37)
        methods - 40 (39)
        spesh - 34 (34)

which got me a 99.25... i'm actually blown away right now. i'm super super happy with all my scores omg.
congratulations to everyone for getting through this year!!!

        2021 raw scores:
        Bio: 43
        HHD: 50
        2022 predictions:
English Language: 45 (actually got 43 kinda disappointed)
Methods: 20 (actually got 27 very happy)
Legal Studies: 37 (got 39 very happy)
Literature: 38? but realistically a 36 (got 37 very happy)

ATAR prediction: aiming for a 98+ but probably only gonna get 97+ which is fine
actually got a 98.15 very very happy

        Hey guys!
Do you think a 93 ATAR is enough to get into biomedicine at Monash or Melbourne?

swheels_ devastated i cannot believe my score, i only got a 36 and now feel like giving up completely because i genuinely poured all my blood sweat and tears into that stupid subject for nothing

I have no idea, this probably doesn't help but I know someone who got 95 and got into biomed at Monash? No idea though sorry. But congratulations!!!

swheels_ like i just do not understand the point of putting so much effort in just to get that like i worked so hard so now i just feel like there's no point trying anymore

              butterfly13579
i'm pretty the atar requirements for biomed are an 85 at monash and a 95 at melbourne!
