My examples came from my everyday news reads (ABC News and The Guardian) and then twitter.
My google searches in the news section included “Australia xenophobic/misogynistic/homophobic/ discriminatory language” and “Australia bloody”.
One of my examples was an ad I got on Instagram
from the Australian Government “Give your mob a boost” so really just be on the lookout.
Sometimes I would just search up controversial Australians and see what they’ve tweeted.
Keep up with current events like elections, geopolitical tensions, sporting events (like the AO), Australian of the Year awards, scandals so you can guide your searches to be current.
Make sure you ask your teachers questions if you’re really struggling because they would really guide you to the type of examples you need for the specific type of topics you are interested in.
