99+ ATAR Math Methods and Biology Tutoring ($40 per hour - 2 x 1 hour sessions per week) (Discord-Based Tutoring ANYWHERE in Victoria)
Hey all, I am offering tutoring for Methods 1+2/3+4, Biology 1+2/3+4 next year in 2023.
A little bit about me, I graduated in 2018 and achieved an ATAR of 99.05, with my top subjects being
Math Methods and Specialist Mathematics. Funnily enough, I was once not that great at math, but then one day I
decided to put my head down into the books and try to see if I can turn myself around. In doing so, I went from
someone who barely achieved 60% in a surds test in year 9, to the top student in my accelerated math class to then
doing as well as I did in year 12. I am currently in my 3rd year of Pure Mathematics at the University of Melbourne and have also completed a diploma in computing with 6-month of professional software engineering experience at National Australia Bank.
Aside from all the academic fluff, I am somebody who enjoys learning and also has a strong understanding of how
to turn around something difficult into something simple. I believe that anybody can learn anything, being good at math has nothing to do with how smart you are, it is more a matter of forcing yourself to see the patterns and this comes with practice and good guidance.
Nonetheless, the tutoring itself is run through discord, and 2 sessions are run per week, each taking 1 hour.
These sessions are taught to a small group of up to 10 students at a time, wherein following the necessary topics you need to understand to prepare for your exams. Within the discord server there will also be options to add questions you are finding difficult so that they can be discussed with you throughout these sessions as well. Because it is run through discord, anybody from anywhere studying VCE Methods or Biology can get tutored from your own household. There is no need to have to travel anywhere.
