Hey guys!
Could anyone applying to or studying biomed at these unis tell me if a 93 ATAR is enough to get into either one?
Thanks
ATAR for Biomed at Melbourne and Monash

You’ll have a relatively good chance with Monash, a slightly lower chance for Melbourne. If you also have Monash Guarantee/ Access Melbourne or any bonus points from SEAS or subject bonuses (which UoM generally don’t have subject bonuses), your chances of getting in will increase.
Hope that helps and congrats on your marks!
Edit: For some stats - Monash currently has 91 lowest selection rank for Biomed, but have also been recently receiving students with late 80s ATARs (raw) with a few bonus points from SEAS and subject bonuses.
Melbourne Biomed currently has a 95 selection rank (with bonus points included already) and have had variable raw ATARs these past few years.
Yup, like AngelWings said SEAS does play quite a big factor, so depending on that if you hit the guaranteed selection rank you will most likely get a spot!
I was also wondering if the science adjustment factors at Monash (for taking science VCE subjects) also applies to the biomed course
Not sure. Couldn’t see it on VTAC CourseSearch nor the Monash Biomed page, so maybe not this year (but don’t take my word for it!). Either way, since you’re above 91 ATAR, you should be good.
