My school offered Japanese & French for senior subjects, however I am interested in studyings either german or dutch. Am I able to ask my school to provide me with reasources to learn these languages for one of my subjects?
Can I study german or dutch in year 11 & 12 if my school doesn't offer it.

Hey christianmeyboom,
You can certainly ask your school and I would highly recommend asking your school even if you think otherwise. The QCAA does recognise German as a general ATAR subject meaning there are resources, as well as a full syllabus (click here for the website). However, I am not entirely sure about Dutch as it isn't one of the QCAA subjects so Dutch might be harder to find. The other thing is that if your school doesn't provide German or Dutch, you may have to find yourself a personal tutor. Nevertheless, I would recommend asking your school about both and seeing what their action plan would be for you to study German and/or Dutch.
Hope this helps!

You could probably do externally. Maybe through other school/online. Have to do some searching. Try this found in old post. https://www.vsl.vic.edu.au/LQF.aspx?SM=1&LID=78
You can do through a Brisbane school of distance education, but your have to go through your school and they have to contact them.
