Something I would say other than 'being specific' is to practice how you can convey a lot of information in as little words possible. This is because since the study design changed, the word limit is not 1000 words, but only 600. Something I did was type out all the possible scientific method stuff we could be asked (e.g. evaluating the accuracy, precision, validity repeatability and reproducibility (no longer reliability), as well as the method, aim, title, discussion of results, conclusion, hypothesis) and see how many words it would add up to. If I went over the limit, I would reduce the words and try again. I eventually made flashcards with the reduced amount of words I was happy with to write down in the real SAC if the rubric prompted me to write it.
