Henderson for selective prep?

My son is in year7 and trying to prepare for Selective exam.
Can I please take some inputs from students/parents where do I need to go for extra tuitions/classes which you think would benefit us?
Somebody mentioned henderson to me? Is it worth it?
Please advise.

I went to Hendersons for the JMSS test. From my time at Hendersons, it felt quite rushed and personally didn't help me that much. Hendersons mostly rushes through topics; for example, they put all the maths topics in 4 days and 1 days to teach us all the science content which made the content felt very rushed and it made it difficult for the teacher to explain in detail. However, because of Hendersons my writing improve greatly as there was people checking my work and Hendersons also provides you with good resources for practice.

My opinion based on my time at Hendersons is, go if you need resources and your son is already advanced in class and just needs a refresher or quick run through the topics. If not, Hendersons is quite expensive for a couple lessons and tutoring centers like JAC is better in my opinion.

So, I am a Year 8 student going to sit the Year 9 sehs exam with only a month left until the tests date. I was wondering if anyone who has completed the test in acer format has any tips or any idea of what to expect in the test. I was also wondering if you had any websites or links that help with quantative and maths that help broaden your concepts and well as keep you under pressure (maybe like timed tests)?Also if the 4% rule of the numebr of students to get accepted is applied, and majority of the candidates are boys but you are trying to get into Macrob, is there a better chance with less girls to compete with?pls respond asap cause im deperrate
