Hi everyone,
I am currently considering doing math methods 1 and 2 early. I am aiming to achieve an ATAR of 98+.
I am planning to study the following VCE subjects:
-Physics
-Chemistry
-Philosophy
-Math Methods
-English
I have two options:
- Do math methods 1 and 2 in year 10 and finish it in year 11 to free up time for other subjects I will do in year 11 and 12.
OR
- Wait and not do math methods early instead, try some other subject instead (might consider doing physics or philosophy - not quite decided).
Could you guide me on the advantages and disadvantages of doing math methods early? Are the topics hard to grasp? Would doing the subject early make it tough to achieve a high study score? Would waiting until year 11 be good since I'll have a year to study and practice? Is there another subject I should consider doing early instead?
