I have some questions on fallacies
Premise 1:- Something is weird if it is uncommon
Premise 2:- Something that is common is not weird
Premise 3:- Most people have something uncommon about them
Conclusion:- Therefore it is weird not to be weird
A. Fallacy of composition
B. Arguing from anecdotal evidence
C. Argumentum ad hominem
D. A and B -- Fallacy of composition and arguing from anecdotal evidence
E. There is nothing wrong in this argument, it is simply a paradox.
My answer was 'E' but the correct answer was 'C'
Premise 1:- Perez Hilton's website says that Brangelina broke up
Premise 2:- Perez Hilton is just a gossip monger
Conclusion:- Therefore Brangelina did not break up
A. Fallacy of composition
B. Arguing from anecdotal evidence
C. Argumentum ad hominem
D. A and B -- Fallacy of composition and arguing from anecdotal evidence
E. There is nothing wrong in this argument, it is simply a paradox.
My answer was 'C' but the correct answer is 'A'

:): this has nothing to do with sehs? also shouldnt the second one be D since Premise 2 is anecdotal evidence?
transportbelt
honestly, idk the correct answer is 'A' apparently. I thought fallacies was also a topic in V.R
