Can you guys tell me which is easier to get into, Nossal or Melbourne high?
Also how many superiors do you need to get into each (personal experience will be appreciated)
And what percentage do you need to get a superior.

    Percentages will differ per year; in addition, since the test is through ACER this year, its not actually even certain if they'll use the superior-system because ACER tests usually use a different method of scoring

    Melbourne High is known to be harder to get into since most students put it as their first preference instead of Nossal. The tests this year may not use the superior method of marking but from friends last year, about 3 superiors got you into Melbourne High and a few students got in with 2. And for Nossal, there were kids with 1 or no superiors but about 2 pretty much got you in if you didn't have any averages. A superior is top 11% of scores btw.

        Same, my older sister says not to panic, but I cant help to panic. Tips: do not study on the day before since it will just increase your stress, keep practicing, do a lot of tests, and don''t try learning anything new since you don't have time. try remember math formulas,

            Thank you for sharing this link, it truly helps with what I was after. The exam format has changed this year though, and it only tests on content at the year 8 level. Nevertheless, it is still useful to me. 👍😁

            Also, are there any maths/numerical reasoning formulas that I should revise these last 3 days? Or any other topics that appear frequently in the Year 8 curriculum?

              Try remember the formulas, don't bother to learn anything new, since you do not have time, just keep on revising.

              Plus, if you do not get in, it is not the end of the world, as long as you try your best. GOOD LUCK GUYS, and believe in yourself, because you are capable.
