Hii so I'm currently in year 8 going into year 9. I did the sehs year 9 2026 entry for macrob and didn't get in. So I want to do the year 10 2027 entry into macrob.
My scores were a superior in writing, two averages in numerical and maths, above averages for verbal and reading.
I really want to get into macrob, so can someone please send me resources if anyone can? I already have the year 9 and 10 essental mathematics text books for the maths part of the exam, but idk how to use it to prepare. If anyone has done the exam or has gained entry for the year 10 exam, please give me tips and how the exam/interview went. And if anyone could please send resources/tips or anything for reading, writing and verbal, I'd appreciate it a lot.
My aim is top get all superiors so I can hopefully get an interview, but i know I'm not capable of that so i really need everything I can get. I'm weak in numerical reasoning and maths, so if anyone could give tips it would be great. I know I'm asking for a lot, but can anyone please give tips for the extra curriculars? I've done debating (DAV), and did two rounds and got best speaker twice, and got best speaker for the house debating at my school. Is there any good debating competitions/public speaking competitions I could attend? Just any ideas of any extra curriculars will help a lot. Thank you so much. 🙂
