Miio TryingForMHS wait what? Isn’t that the four percent rule? Don’t u get a superior compared with the preference schools or something?
MMHS Miio No i don think so, a superior is determined by how well you compare with the rest of the cohort, only like 460 kids get a sup out of 4000-5000
Miio MMHS ooohhhh ok 🙂 thanks how many superiors do u want to have for a chance to get into Schs for example
MMHS TryingForMHS Oh really, so what types of questions, like finding the equation of a graph from given coordinates?
TryingForMHS MMHS 3?!?! Bro I think you are setting the bar too high. I think it's compared to your own school because last year my friend in my school said that she only needed 2 superiors and 3 above averages to get into the school
MMHS TryingForMHS did she get in a school. I don't think the marks are compared to with others in your school, its just everyone and the top 460 ish kids get that superior and so on. Yes there is the 4% rule but if it was compared with your own school, whats the point of everyone from different schools sitting in the same hall if uk
Ronaldo TryingForMHS ye but i think its three sups for melbourne high and for nossal ive seen students with 2sups and 3 high avs and they got an interview
TryingForMHS But mostly quadratics, surds, indices I was mistaken I am not bad at those, and simple equations using surds and weird stuff
TryingForMHS MMHS Yes she got into Mac Rob, but I heard everyone say it is only compared to your school
Ronaldo MMHS wait but ive heard people say that around 200ish kids try out from their school and only 40ish kids get in so i reckon it applies to your own school and they probs make you sit in the same hall because there aren't a lot of venues to place around 5000 kids
TryingForMHS Also I make simple mistakes like forgetting to make the - a + and forgetting simple formulas so yeah
