not all questions will be linear bc that is mainly yr 7-8 level, but this test will touch on yr9 and 10 concepts. year 10 concepts include parabolas, qaudratics and trigonometry combined so if you don't know them then its probably too late. There is no real way of being 'prepared' you just have to pretty much know all topics to a high level to get a chance to get in.

For vocab, you can check out some vocab lists or use Vocabulary.com but there's no real way to know what will be on the VR test exactly, however it will help lots and is great for writing so make sure it's strong!

Danny for verbal reasoning i suggest expanding vocabulary but seeing as how far the test is just brush up on some reading and some verbal questions will be finding the odd one out like
        find the odd one out
        A} Ephemeral B} everlasting C} extensive

for reading comprehension some phrases would be what is the innovation of the 17th century and here is a phrase for that,
The steam engine is the innovation of the 17th century. One key strategy is the SCAN method its where you look at a question and by using the scan method you read over the questions fast and don't focus on a single term,. additionally work on is find key words in a question and choice and look for it in the passage.
writing: for structure look at pieces of authors and look at their structure and make it similar, another key feature for time management is bring an analogue clock and give 5 minutes for planning if needed and the rest for writing.
quantitative ability: work on number sequences and square numbers you can't rly get prepared but just do practice tests

        Danny
for vr not really only patterns, majority tests ur vocab so having a very expansive vocab is optimal

Unfortunately I don't have any JAC practice tests, however I have some outdated Hendersons. Let me know if you want them. Also you can try searching in other forums if there are any other practice questions.
        Hope this helps!

For the writing Persuasive, if you are doing 2 body paragraphs and then rebuttal would you only need two arguments in introduction.

My last tutoring session for selective is tomorrow. I’m kinda sad ngl😭

              Miio Same 😕
Tomorrow is the verry last lesson.. very last few practice tests 😭

Danny on the test some marks will be taken off for only two arguments

Also would you need only 2 arguments for introduction because you are writing rebuttal? and would you lose marks if you did write only 2 arguments for intro.
