Advice on course selection for Year 11 VCE

I am a international student, I came to Australia to study in Year 9.
Here are my VCE subject selections：

Mathematical Methods
Specialist Mathematics
English and English as an Additional Language
Chinese First Language
Australian and Global Politics
Biology

English is my weakness and I need to spend a lot of time getting to know and understand unfamiliar words. I have heard that Biology has a large vocabulary and that Australian and Global Politics requires a high level of English. I would like some advice on this choice of subject. Will this choice of course put a lot of pressure on me in Year 11 and Year 12?

I can't say anything about Global Politics but for Biology I don't feel like it needs a high level of English but you do need to be able to explain what your saying clearly. Personally I'm not too good at English and I've noticed that a lot of my English smart friends tend to be better at Biology. But if your willing to put the effort in you should be fine. You just need to be good at explaining.
