Hii I'm a year 10 student and I have subject selections coming up soon. My school lets us do a 3/4 subject in year 11 without previously doing the 1/2 in year 10 and I'm struggling with choosing which subject to accelerate. I'm aiming for a 95+ ATAR.
Right now I'm thinking about either 3/4 bio or 3/4 business management. Some of the year 11s in my school said that biology is hard to accelerate and that 1/2 is really important for 3/4, however some also said that it's not that hard. I've heard that it opens up a lot of uni courses, and I'm currently leaning towards doing a medicine related course (although I'm really not sure what course I want to do in uni so my preferences are very likely to change). I don't particularly like or dislike bio, but I'm worried that it will take a lot of time away from my other subjects.
I wouldn't say I'm really passionate about business management either but I think I like it more than biology. I also feel like I'd do a lot better in business management than biology. I don't think I'll actually do a commerce or business course in uni though.
So far I'm planning to take:
- Mainstream english
-Chemistry
-Methods
-Chinese SL
-Art Making and Exhibiting
- Bio 3/4 or Business Management 3/4
Would Bio 3/4 or Business Management 3/4 be more useful for me?
