Hi guys,
I'm a year 11 student and I want to go into medicine.
I'm debating on whether to go with icanmed or medentry.
Could you guys please help me out?
Thank you
Medentry vs icanmed
Sundrica hi! i didn't buy icanmed but i did get medify, and i really really liked it. i didn't get such a great ucat score but i found that my medify mocks were personally a little harder than the real ucat, and the variety of question types is pretty similar to the real thing.
juliarobertsxxx Thank you for the reply! Also does medify have weekly/monthly classes or do we have to buy them additionally?
Sundrica you can either go by a subscription (weekly $35, monthly $65), or you can buy a fixed-duration package, eg. 1 month or 1 week/2 weeks or a seasonal pass (and then extend the duration by buying one more week, etc). i chose the second option just in case i wanted to reschedule (which i did, a few times).
both these options come with:
20,000+ questions
50+ hours of video tutorials
24 mocks and 40+ mini-mocks
and performance feedback.
by classes, do you mean tutoring classes? videos of explanations to questions are included in the above packages, but if you want actual classes by a ucat tutor, i don't think medify offers it. let me know if you need the ig/phone number of some ucat tutors; personally, i think practising (as soon as you can), analysing my results, and tracking my progress (via medify) has helped me much more than a tutor, which i tried for a few sessions. it depends on you though - if you have specific questions and feel more prepared to train w someone more experience, go for it
Ok, thank you so much!!
