      meowmeow:) ur right there is a lot of algebra but u just need a solid understanding of yr 8 and 9 curriculum and you'll be good where as quantitative includes number squares and patterns

              meowmeow:) for example "ken bought 10 oats and 5 chocolate bars for 150 dollars how much would it cost if there was a 15 percent discount on both products". then there would be multiple choice questions and just choose from that

                        Ronaldo juxtaposition wont come, thats not really vocabulary but rather a literary technique

                          MMHS a guy who got into nossal said those types of words or words similar may come up

                            maybe of the same level but dont just go off those words

                            meowmeow:) an example might be: Barry bought stickers for 75c each and stamps for $1.50 each, he bought 13 items and spent 13.50, barry bought how many stickers.
                            Of course this is a straightforward one with like an obvious way to solve it but yeah these ones may come up.

                                    todays basically finished, plus the test is in the morning.... so yeh ;-;

                                          Ooh am I the only one who has no idea how many are in my cohort?? I estimate 200 but I'm probably off by a lot.. not sure how to check.. maybe around 35 people trying out including myself, maybe less

                                          It's 10% on p-9 right? Means 20 people can get in, a bit worried..

                                                isn't it like a maximum of 10% (in p-9) or 4% students can get in if they score good marks, but if they all score bad marks then maybe no one from the school will get selected...
                                                or is it like the selective schools NEED to take 10% or 4% from P-9 and p-12 schools respectively?
