My son had received first round offer from MHS year 9 next year and now also has received 75% scholarship from Haileybury. As both are good schools, we are confused which one to choose ( assuming money/fees is not a criteria for selection). Which school has better support, cohort, teachers etc. Does anyone have an experience of both? Or can shed some light from your research, knowledge or peer experience. Thanks heaps in advance. Happy to look at pros and cons. Any insight would be appreciated. 
MHS or Haileybury
In my opinion, it is dependent on the student. Haileybury indeed offers great resources and teaching that is unparalleled to any public school, however, your child might also want to account for travel times, friends ..etc. Melbourne High does offer high levels of resources, and is only slightly shy of Haileybury.
