Hello, I am currently at the end of Term 3/Unit 2 of Year 11 doing QCE. My subjects are specialist math, math methods, literature, legal studies, modern history and chemistry. I am generally not very good at math and it takes me a lot of practice/study to get Cs/Bs and it takes me hours to understand a simple concept we learned in class and there is the 50% external so i have decided to drop spec. I am generally good at the humanities/english as it just comes naturally to me and I was wondering what accounting was like and if my knowledge would be affected by not being there for units 1/2. Is econ worth it, what does the work load/syllabus look like for economics and if its hard. My humanities and eng subjects are very easy (95% average) and they generally don't take much time so I can spend the rest on chem, methods and spec so I have time to put in for econ study.
Anyone doing ATAR (HSC, VCE, etc) just let me know your experience 🙂
