Heyo! I'm currently in the process of finalizing my subjects. Originally I was just referring to my schools subject selections but I went ahead and looked at the VSV option and Extended Investigations stood out to me in particular. From what I've gathered you choose your own research topic then compile your research into 4000 words, you do a Critical Thinking exam and a lengthy oral presentation at the end. Since the subject seems to be mostly independent study, I don't think it'll be as disadvantaged compared to more participative-oriented subjects. Anyways here are my questions for y'all EI students:
- How difficult was the workload for you for EI against your other subjects?
- Has anyone done EI on VSV? If so, how was your experience?
- What aspects of EI did you find easy and what aspects did you find more difficult?
- Are there any past student research papers/example resources for this subject I can refer to?
- If you had time to prepare for this subject beforehand what would you recommend I should focus on to get ahead?
Also for context if I pick up EI, I'll be doing Eng Lang, Methods, Economics and Viscom alongside it.
Thanks!
