How do I go about preparing for my psych exam?

Hi, I'm currently in Year 11 doing Year 12 Psychology.
I've done pretty well in my SACs throughout the year and I'm aiming for a 45+ plus study score , however I am losing direction on where to start with studying.
For one, I am struggling with memorising everything for Research methods. No matter how many hours I put in, I just can't memorise or understand all the nuanced information in the chapter. I am worried that the exam will be full of questions that go deep, and I won't be able to answer them.
I feel that if I can overcome this section of the topic, then I can get started on preparation for the rest of the units.

I would appreciate any tips or advice so that I can do well

PRACTICE EXAMS. These are your gateway to getting a higher ss, and there is a proven relationship between number of practice exams completed and having a higher ss. Also, you need to make study-design dot point specific notes. For dot point, do this:

dot point analysis, task one -> highlight what is the key terms, e.g. consider what your definition for sensory stimuli is
First job is to look at key terms and make sure you’re able to define them: C level
Second job is to underline the instructions → the dps tell you what they’re going to ask you
Can I do these things? Do I know how the brain enables the response? B level
How might be asked? A level (look at different question stems)
Define, explain, compare, contrast, illustrate, why, where, how, design
Another tip I would give is to ensure you at least understand the command terms (you can find lists and make it into flashcards or something), and do workbook questions/practice questions on research methods to improve that too. The best way to do research methods imo (which disclaimer is what works for ME), is case-based scenarios which you might find in your textbook or practice question resources, as you're forced to look at the concepts in an actual scenario compared to as definitions on paper or whatever.
