submitted a late assignment

i (usually an A student) accidentally submitted a late assignment for my ia1. My teacher was going to ask someone else to "see what happens" apparently. had this happened for anyone else?
am i likely going to fail now bc i couldn't get an assignment in on time?

depends on their own protocol, they may just not care or give you a small % penalty on your score. Unlikely you are going to fail if it is only slightly late and you have been a good student.
