For Melbourne uni bachelors of science, the guaranteed atar is 88. Does that mean if you get over an 88 atar, you're definitely going to get an offer?

Lemonade_222 If you have Access Melbourne, got above an 88 ATAR and put it as a preference, yes. Otherwise, good chance but no guarantee.

I did get accepted for access Melbourne for the first in family category but I'm not sure if it has to be another category such as financial difficulties to have a guaranteed entry.
Lemonade_222 As far as I know you just need to be accepted into Access Melbourne under any category for the guarantee, so you should be good. (At least, this was true in previous years, so hopefully it hasn’t changed… but even if not, there’s a solid chance you’ll get in.)

I was granted admittance into Access Melbourne under the family category, but I'm not sure space bar clicker whether there are other requirements, such having financial troubles, in order to be certain of a spot.
