Hey there!

I will be doing Unit 1/2 Methods and Unit 1/2 General Maths next year.

My school has used the the Casio ClassPad in past but has decided to switch to the Tx-Nspire next year. Some students have already brought the Casio Classpad and the teachers are okay with.

Should I get the Tx-Nspire or Casio Classpad? Which one is easier to use?

Thanks in advance🙂

The blue TI is more powerful than the Classpad and there are occasionally some questions on the methods 3/4 exams that are easier to do on TI.

TnGn74 I've heard that the Classpad is easier to use though. What are your thoughts?

You will get really familiar with whatever calculator you use, so I would not worry too much about that. Because Classpad has a touch screen it might be more intuitive at the start, but I have also seen people complain about how many menus you need to go through compared to the TI's keypress shortcuts.

TnGn74 Thank you so much for your insight. In this case, I will purchase the TI.

I used a ti-inspire, doing algbra and calculus in the ti inspire is better. But for probability the classpas is better.
For General maths classpad has some functions not avaliable in ti-inspire not very imp but u might need to do it by hand depending on th question. Again not super imp but just wanted to let you know.

Overall the ti-inspire while being a little less user friendly is more powefull, better processing unit and more ram.
So I would recommend ti-inspire for methods and general.

(also most uni's suggest ti if u need it for ure course) so u might save money in the future.
