Hey! I've done all these subjects except for spesh, and here's what I would say:
Chemistry
Not much of 1/2 content goes into 3/4. However, topics such as redox will be in 3/4 and it would be more advanced than 1/2, since more complex half equations are included and you will be studying electrolysis alongside it. Also review intermolecular forces as it acts as a fundamental for some topics in 3/4!
Physics
Literally nothing of 1/2 overlaps with 3/4 with the exception of basic forces, acceleration, Newton's laws.... Not sure if it is the same for 2024 since a new study design has been introduced.
Methods
If I were you, I'd probably prepare most for methods. 3/4 Methods is basically a build on of 1/2 knowledge. Almost everything overlaps with the exception of Permutations, and is significantly harder due to the various types of extended response questions they can ask you in 3/4. Polish and hone your 1/2 skills well and you will be well prepared for 3/4.
English
3/4 will build on your pre-existing essay writing skills, however I wouldn't worry much as you still have heaps of time to nail down essential writing skills and vocabulary in Year 12. For me, most of my English skills are developed within the 3/4 course, and believe me, your English teacher would most likely take 3/4 more seriously and require more essays handed in than 1/2. The only thing brought down from 1/2 would be argument analysis, however you will go over that in a greater detail in 3/4 so if I were you, I'd probably just read the prescribed texts during the holidays and not worry much.
All the best for Year 12 🙂
