Was looking for suggestions for the best scholarship prep companies for private schools (melbourne grammar/scotch/hailybury etc).

My friend did Qs and got 50% scholarship to Haileybury. My other friend got 75% scholarship to Haileybury with no tutoring but extensive self studying and reading. Idk how...

Hey so I have heard that James Ann has a specialised scholarship course for these kinda tests. You could also check the website of the company which runs your exam (acer, edu, etc) for practice exams from them. Honestly, just practice and working on your weaknesses should be able to help improve your scores. If you are a high scoring student in school, you should be able to cope well, however if you are a borderline student, I would suggest doing some practice just so you aren't overwhelmed when you take the exam.

I mean, personally I wouldn’t go tutoring for the entirety of your prep. I would only go around 2-3 months before the test. Honestly, I use tutoring when I am struggling a lot with a particular type or range of questions. There’s no point practicing and revising something that you already know.

Find and target specific weaknesses to bring to tutoring. If you’re struggling in all aspects that are targeted in the test, just don’t apply as you’re clearly not prepared.
