hi! if you’re interested in the theory component of PE but not so much the prac, i would suggest doing human health and development (HHD). you could choose physical education (PE) but that would involve a prac every 2 (i think) weeks. i personally am not studying HHD nor PE, but from what i’ve heard about HHD specifically, it is quite easy and if you put in the effort and dedication to achieve well. not too sure about scaling though, that’s something you will need to look at the scaling report for. anyway, i wouldn’t discourage away from a subject because of the scaling, because if you do well then it will pay off for you. personally, 4 out of 5 of my year 12 subjects this year scale down, but i’m just working hard to make sure i get above a 35 so it scales a bit less. always remember that you can just try out these subjects in year 11 and if they don’t work, drop them for year 12 when your grades matter much more.
