Hey guys, after the first term of year 12, I have not quite achieved what I wanted, and have gotten below par marks. I know what I did wrong, mostly procrastinating and leaving revision till last minute, the following are my marks and rank, I go to a below 200 rank school. IF i put my head down and don't repeat the same mistakes is 90+ Atar still possible? and also I have a another question is it marks or ranks that matter more?

Biology- 66% Rank 10/42
Chemistry- 60% Rank 10/36
English Advanced- 75% Rank 3/30
Maths Advanced - 82% Rank 25/52
Physics- 85% Rank 5/40
PDHPE - 83% Rank 2/38
Thanks In advance for your answers

hey,
short answer: yessssss 90+ is still possible
long answer: even though every single term of yr 12 is important you have to rmbr that all this is prob just 20% out of 100% OUT OF 50% so at the end of the day it may only add up to 5-10% of ur entire star.
All the subjects you do are typically harder/higher scaling
also ur rank is pretty good in most of them, also our schools tend to make internals harder than HSC they take than into account when scaling your marks

012D Thanks for that one mate but some things changed for worse
I actually popped off in some subjects,
biology upped the average to 81%
    Pdhpe to 86%
    Chemistry to 69%
    english to 77%
However in Physics and maths adv took a big drop
    Maths went down to 78%
    Phyiscs down to 62%
Is 90+ atar more or less possible now?
