Does anyone have a specefic definition for a contempory business/contemporary business case study?
Does it mean a business that was launched within the past 4 years, or has just been running within the past 4 years or had a specefic event in the past 4 years?
Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated

Rey_of_sunshine textbooks, especially the jacaranda one, should have examples of contemporary case studies. to be honest, you can sort of use any business that is operating at this moment in time. try using one that has been open for 5 or more years, as they are more likely to go through common stages a business would endure.
i use apple for all my case study references, but my teacher would always suggest to steer clear from fast food brands and controversial companies. you could literally use the local fish and chip store if you have one near by, and just make something up. (“the fishy fish and chippery (it’s made up if you couldn’t tell due to the lack of creativeness) should impose a participative management style to keep employees engaged, leading to increased staff morale and reduce rates of absenteeism”) you get the point (i hope).
FH Thankyou so much! I found that there wasn't anything overly specefic on what exactly VCAA wanted so I wanted clarification before trying to start finding them so I didn't choose any that couldn't be used properly.
I also think that is a very good name for a fish and chip shop lol
Rey_of_sunshine if it helps, my teacher said that we could make hypothetical ones up as long as we can justify their relevance to the question asked
girlmeetsvce Thankyou, I think I'd like to try and use real ones so they're verifiable just in case but I'll definitely keep that in mind in the exam just in case

do you have any suggestions for websites/places to look for contemporary case studies?
girlmeetsvce I'm not sure what textbook you use but I use jacplus and they have an assortment throughout so I'd suggest checking your textbook/resources, most teachers will also give you case studies throughout the year butyou can also find businesses you're interested/have heard about and see if it can apply to many dotpoints in the study design.
